( MEME SUNDAY: WAH Secrets 2.0! )Hello, all! This week's edition of meme Sunday is WAH Secrets 2.0! This is a take on Post Secrets. Anonymous commenting has been turned on, and all you do is anonymously post a banner or image with a secret of your character's on it (example!) giving everyone an opportunity to guess who it belongs to. Postcards don't have to be works of art, but if you're looking for an easy-to-use online program to put something together, try Picnik!

Hello, people of WAH! Today is the last day of September, which means we have been open for a whole month! Holy crap. And it's been an awesome month! We want to thank all of you for making it this fantastic. We can be modly until we're blue in the face, but it's all of your awesome participation, characters, and general awesome-ness that has made this game a success so far. THANK YOU!!!

 | "Bon Appetit, Bitch!" In other words: FOOD FIGHT. On September 25th, upon seeing selected targets Oscar Fancourt & Francesca Jugson enter the Great Hall at breakfasttime, Jack Purkiss and Evie Spinnet will have successfully instigated a food fight, the former nailing Fancourt in the face with a bagel and the latter having bespattered Jugson's face and wardrobe with a full jug of pumpkin juice (if not getting a bit on some poor spectator's outfit!) Hopefully that'll teach 'em to call anyone an alleged pedophile or a grandmother.
Someone will get pelted by a ricocheting bagel, and whomever the soiled outfit belongs to, will probably be seeking revenge, aka the vicious cycle of flying eggs and kippers! So yes, if your character got caught in the crossfire, joined in on the fun, or crawled underneath the coward's table, IC/OOC commentary is welcome. Either way, they're all probably going to go to the showers in greasy robes, or at least, those who were lucky enough to attend breakfast.

( MEME SUNDAY: Veriterserum! )Hello, all! This week's edition of meme Sunday is Veriterserum! Incredibly potent truth serum has been poured into the water at Hogwarts and characters are forced to respond openly and honestly to all questions asked of them (but this IS OOC knowledge; information gained from this meme does not transfer to game-play). Reply in a comment with your character's name, and then have them answer all questions posed to them truthfully. Don't forget to have your characters ask other characters questions as well!

OH GOD, ANOTHER INTRO, RUN!
Okay, wait, don't run. It's Lee again, only with another, Liam O'Hare. Don't worry, I'll make this brief!
- Liam is a 5th year Ravie, looks older though.
- His Dad is Darren O'Hare, a Kenmare Kestrels Captain alumnus.
- His paternal family (the O'Hare Clan) are all cray-cray and purist.
- Hence, he's a purist too, but no one knows about this (because he's fakes being neutral). He'll often make muggle references (yes, he's willing to lose a few points) to spot the muggleborns and "good guys" for his own mischievous knowledge.
- He's a SOCIOPATH. Scary. It just means that he's a compulsive liar. His entire charming and suave persona is a lie because well, he finds it amusing. He has shallow emotions and no sense of empathy. Thus, he's not afraid to take advantage of people. And women.
- You'll usually hear him spouting his theories on how magic society and government are ineffective (and no ones knows this, but he thinks Voldie is a good way to go in reforming the world into a new utopia).
- Funny thing is, he's not afraid of being found out.
Right, so! Girls he's dated, will date. People that think he's fake (which shouldn't be many, but there are a few) and people that would be completely manipulated by him. People that know he's a purist (again, very few).

Ola! Alie here with your class and club weekly forecast. As a rule these posts will be made on Sundays along with our weekly memes; they'll be covering off incidents in class, hype, particularly hefty homework and etc in an effort to keep things consistent. We have a short week this week with no clubs or quidditch to consider, and we're going to keep things mild for the time being since there are only two days of classes (NOTE there isn't any need to log volunteer roles in these instances, just please respond in a comment with the why your character lost points; it's also your job to get the information circulating) so:( Thursday )

*innocent whistle* It's just about midnight EST, so... Wait & Hope is officially open for gameplay! Before you get started, a few reminders:1) Please run the Friend Button!
2) A note: If you have not yet introduced your character in the OOC community, you have a week to do so or your character will be removed from the game.
3) Given the journals are very new, characters will not yet be aware of warding, and so will not be able to private entries or comments to themselves or to one another. This will change relatively quickly, and in-game.
4) We will be posting OOC/IC in the game community (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) waitandhope) today (starting at around 10am PST) for both the Hogwarts Express and Welcoming Feast.
5) Those with student authority characters are reminded to please post any points given or taken away, as well as any detentions given, as a comment to this entry.
6) If you haven't already, you can grab your character's student ID here.
7) And last but not least, please review the September 1997 game calendar under the cut (volunteer positions are first come, first serve ALL FILLED)! :D
